Thanks for the comment. Unfortunately you friend is right, he would win with the hand:

Your Friend: 10 10 10 9 9 (Full House 10′s and 9′s)
You: 9 9 9 J J (Full House 9′s over Jacks’s)

Your friend has a higher full house since his three card set is higher than yours (10′s vs 9′s). The pair (your Jack’s vs. his 9′s) are irrelevant here and would only come into play if you both shared the same three card set. They would then act as the tie breaker or kicker.

I was playing poker when i got confused the five cards were 10 10 9 9 jack
my cards were 9 and jack so i knew i got a full house then my friends card was 10 and 3 so i knew he only got a trio so i thought i won because i got a full house composed of three 9′s and pair of jack but then he said he won because he got three 10′s and pair of 9 but from what i understand i poker the only way he could have won is if he had a pair 10 from the start and the five cards were 10 9 9 jack and a random card im really confused pls answer this question!? thank you!

I have a question regarding All in under raises and will appreciate it if you can shed some light on this long debate ive had with my friends.

5 players STT blinds 500/1000

Player A folds
Player B folds
player C calls (1000)
SB All-in (1100)
BB ?

Can BB raise in this situation since he is last to act? and to try and force player C out of the hand?
If BB decides to call does he jus call the extra 100?? or must it be to the next miniraise of 2000 total to call? (where the remainder 900 will go to the sidepot)
