With a new leaderboard for the month of April, and a fresh new start for TPT Players, MrMxyzpltk roared to the top of the leaderboard in week 1 with a victory in the Thursday Night Points event.  His follow up performance included a well played match that saw him final table his second consecutive event, and this time finish just short of the money in 5^th place.  But the deep run was enough to firmly entrench MrMxyzpltk at the top of the April leaderboard.

Week 2 saw little shakeup at the top, but did see 2 familiar names in the money, and 2 new names battling out for the points and the first place prize.  Newcomer to the TPT sixama, would eventually bow out in 4^th place, and Corkscrewzzz would have a commanding 3 to 1 chip lead going into 3 handed play over both MrSoprano111 and allin4flush, who had finished runner up in week 1.   The remaining 3 players began discussing a deal to chop the remaining prize money, but instead elected to play it down.  Shortly after the final Midnight EST break, allin4flush would end his night in 3^rd, followed by MrSoprano111 in 2^nd, and Corkscrewz111 would emerge a TPT Champion. 

Other winners on the night included @ZenX1 who won the Pokernations.com 1000 Bonus chips giveaway for tweeting out the message of the week, and Pokernations.com forum member DJKw418 for having his hand selected to be featured in the Hand of the Week contest.  DJKw418 will be entered into a drawing for a 1 month subscription to online training site DeucesCracked.
