Amanda 'Mandy B' Baker

You should never be too surprised if you sit at an online table with a player whose name appears in red, and they end up with a large portion or all of your chips.  After all, this is what these pro’s do for a living.  But you should be even less surprised when you’re sitting at a table on FullTilt Poker.com, and those chips are being raked by pro sensation, Amanda Baker.  Amanda plays online exclusively on Full Tilt Poker as ‘Mandy B’, and for the players that have run into her on the tables, they know that it’s going to be a long day, despite the fact that she can make short work of you.

Amanda has several cashes in the 4 and 5 figure sums on Full Tilt this year.  In fact, one of the tournaments that she’s seen recent success in this year is Full Tilt’s Turbo Hundo, which guarantees a $25,000 prize pool. Amanda has torn apart the large fields in this tournament, amassing 9 Final Tables in this tournament this year alone, and 3 times emerging as the fields 1^st place finisher.  In fact, she’s won more than $32k from just her final table appearances alone.

But Amanda plays in many other tournaments online, scoring big cashes by placing 1^st in the $17,500 guarantee, Runner up finishes in the $85,000 guarantee and $75,000 guarantee, and multiple other final table finishes.  And that’s just this year!  Needless to say, Mandy B is a force to be reckoned with in the online world.

Amanda’s successes at the poker felt are not limited to the cyber world however.  In live poker action, Amanda has seen tremendous success as well.  According to the Hendon Mob Database, Amanda has 11 total cashes totaling about $200k, which ranks her 72^nd on the all time Women’s Money List.

Amanda’s major tournament live cashes include a 72^nd place finish at the 2005 WPT World Championship, and 3 WSOP cashes including a Main Event deep run in 2007, where Amanda finished in 253^rd for a $45,422 pay day.  But her largest live success came from a WSOPC event at Caesars in Indiana, where Amanda bested every player in the 290 player field, finishing 1^st place for an $88,368 prize.
