I'm down with a $10 +1 over a $5 +1

So, is this almost settled, or do we need an official poll?

Sundays are the busiest day of the week for me, tourney wise. So, I would prefer Friday/Saturday. but if not, I can always tile in one more table.
I appreciate the "twit this" button. But, it keeps timing out for me.

Yeah, I think it is a Twitter issue. It is timing out trying to get to the OAuth login page for twitter. I'll be able to test better once that is resolved!

Looks like it works. It only links to the page, and not the specific post you click however. I will need to look into that.

Yeah, that seems like an easy fix, but we should stop hijacking the thread…
What day and time should we have the $10+$1 event?

For a strong attendance and availability, why not a wed. or tues. evening around 9ish? Kids are in bed, chores are done, wife is off with your brother/cousin/friend, best time for poker. Weekends everyone is doing things, Fridays everyones drunk, Football season is coming, plus, it breaks up the week for regular tpt. The euro's may have to stay up late, but thats their problem for living there…lol. JUST KIDDING, mostly.

I have heard from a few members that Sundays are preferable as they are already online with the other big events taking place. Weekdays are tough because even with a 9PM ET start we still have west coasters stuck in traffic!
I propose as a one-off event we try a $10+$1 NLHE doublestack this Sunday at 5PM ET?
Thoughts??

Here is the info I got from Full Tilt regarding the blind levels and starting stack options:
The blind level options available for private tournaments include 3, 5, 6 as well as 10 minute blind levels. The minimum rake/juice for private tournaments with 3000 starting or less is $1 and the minimum rake/juice for private tournaments with 5000 starting chips or less is $3.

I am broke, unemployed and single. I can spend money i don't have to play a game im not good at for the sake of entertainment, albeit just a few minutes as im likely to bust early by a riverd flush against my flopped straight. So, i am all for this tourney, i may or may not play each week, it depends on how my money situation is. As for the day/time? I don't care, days and times are meaningless to me.

The longer levels, the better. 10 is still so short, but if that's the best you can do, I'll take it.
As far as the $3 minimum is concerned, I would rather it be $30+$3 if I am paying a $4 fee. But, that obviously wouldn't fly for the TPT. So I would rather do $10+$3 with 5000 stacks, than 3000 stacks.
I'll settle for $10+$1 if I have to though…

A Monthly Sunday 5pm 10+1 tourney is fine by me. I have noticed a lack of interest in the Alt TPTT and TPTE. With less than eight players it is almost not worth playing in – even with such a fine group as us TPT'ers. But that might be another topic?

Yes, I hope to broach that subject soon.
I am going to need to create the tourney today to get it setup in time to promote, etc. Any other thoughts, concerns, etc??

I just submitted the request for this Sundays event. Once I get the tourney ID we can start to promote it.
