Paul, what Imanoth is referring too isn't really a freeroll on Full Tilt or any other online poker room. He is referring to devising the software to allow poker to be played ON twitter. See IRC Poker.
Imanoth, I do think it's a good idea in theory I just think it would go the way of many of the games you mentioned go, into obscurity. Sure many people still play these Godfather/Mafia games, etc but they annoy the hell out of people!

You're totally right, Geoff. That is.
This game thing, is something like that.
It will annoy people if it is played on people daily account.
What about an account just to play the game? (created, or generated by the original).
I don't need any supporting webpage to test the gameplay. But it will take me some time to figure out the quicker process for a test.
Build it around the TPT, it's maybe the nicer part.

P.S.2: Looking for a name in google I found something like that, not exactly what I was thinking but still poker on twitter. I think its made awful but will help. I thought this time ago… Grrr… Should I contact them, or should I still test the way I thought?

Both, everything said above. Let's get some testers for this. Contact the others who already have it. See if you can "borrow" their ideas. ;-)
Then build your "own". You develop it. I will be your first tester.
I think this might be the greatest idea ever. Much better than the current TPT.

Are you planning to develop this?? We'd be happy to help test and shoot out some tweets to help promote it but I'd have to think about whether I want it associated to the TPT.
On the one hand it would generate interest for the TPT but on the other hand it may confuse what we are really about (real money online poker league).

I personally think lmanoth has come up with the perfect idea. One that would greatly enhance the TPT.
Everything that he has mentioned seems like pure genius. Personally, I would like to know a lot more about it.
Playing freerolls on twitter sounds way cooler than having to PAY to play poker on the FTP software, which sucks.

Well, I see it like a mini-game (maybe "powered by TPT"?).
Since it will be "powered by" and not exactly TPT, people won't have to get confused, because they're different concepts (one being a free mini-game and the other being the big game where you can earn money and respect.
(They would "touch" each other at some point in order to promote).
Free mini-game = a training/entertaiment.
TPT = the big dance.
*For the big dance, you will have to PAY or SWEAT (maybe 1 guy could earn a "ticket", like you said, on a freeroll running on the mini-game just before TPT). But it only if the idea run good.

As I said, gotta develop the test (probably to do it just before a TPT main event).
In the test, I'll run it with myself doing the job of the automatic procedure of what I want to be the supporting webpage.
Once ran, I'll explain fully the idea (It seems pretty different to the other I just saw, wich is only geek friendly then complex), and every tester will understand it.
