If I flop boat on draw heavy board, and get check raised, I am probably 3betting. Especially in this spot where, he could easily have an ace or a ten and believe its good. Esp at 25NL. I don't think many players are going to ever fold Ax in that spot. Obv never folding Tx either.
If he has KJ, KQ, QJ, K9, Q9, I think flatting the check raise is a good idea, since he may get scared off his draw if you 3bet too high.
But generally, if they think they are strong enough to check raise, they are probably going all the way. You don't see too many c/r bluffs at this level.
When he check raises the turn, I am jamming every time. By this point he either has a monster like JT, or something like KQd. Or even a Axd.
Either way, obv jam here. If he slowplayed AA pre, then pay him off. Same for JJ.
Edit: I like the half pot on the turn. Looks like it could just be a barrel. Not small enough to be begging for a call and not big enough to scare many people off.
If he has complete air, he probably wont be calling anything else either way, so might as well see if you can get him to bluff by showing possible weakness.
min-raise (*gasp*) or jam turn. He is probably committed, so jamming is fine. But a lot of times min raising will get him to call when a jam might not, and then he will be committed on river.

Thanks man, I jammed his CR and he folded, tanked but folded. If he insta-folded I would have assumed he had air and I wasn't going to get anything out of him anyway had I just flatted and jammed the river. But when he tanked it got me thinking about my flatting his flop CR. Maybe I should have 3bet/shoved there instead.

Wow. I did not expect him to fold there, despite the thread title.
If he folded, I think the tanking is just to save face.
In that spot it seems like he is committed. One could argue for a flat, and see if he has the stones to try something on the river. But, it seems like if you flat, he probably has to give up anyway. So odds are, you wont be getting anything more, regardless.
The only other thing you could do, with a hand that is nearly invulnerable, is simply flat the turn. Then, see if he fires the river, in which case, jam. If he checks the river, min bet. This is a tip I got from Leatherass's book.
A min bet is a bet that he will almost always have to call, so it is a way of getting a little more out of him. But the best part about it is, a min bet seems so retarded that it will get a lot of people to spaz out and shove. Min betting the river looks like you missed your draw, but think he is insta-folding since he checked. So you min bet, he thinks you have nothing and shoves. Then you stack him. There's really nothing to lose by doing it, in most cases. I mean, you are calling the river no matter what happens. So might as well try to provoke one final bluff.

The book is full of gems like that.
It's a great book. Short, concise, simple and easy to read.
I am thinking about taking second in my own tourney just to win the book for myself.
